Society and Fashion
My friends and I have been discussing the style of pants that come with "distruction." It is ridiculous that you would buy something that has rips and tears in it. When you buy something new, it looks new without all the holes in the knees. You pay at least $50 for a pair of pants that have holes? That is so silly! I can do that myself to a pair of non-pre worn jeans in a few months thank you very much! Does society put SO much stress on fashion these days, that it doesn't matter if it looks ulgy, or is unflattering? It seems like that is the case. People are so desperate to fit in and be in fashion that they really don't think about if it looks good on their body type or not. You should be stylish, but if it looks bad on your type of body than you really shouldn't be wearing it. When something looks "cute," does that mean it looks good on them or does it mean it looks fashionable?
